The PMX series Vacuum Double Planetary Mixer is an advanced industrial compounding system engineered for processing ultra-high viscosity pastes, non-flowing gels, and heavy slurries ranging from 0 to 1,500,000 cps. Featuring planetary motion where agitator blades revolve around the vessel center while simultaneously rotating on their own individual axes, it creates intense multi-directional shearing and kneading action with 100% zero dead angles.
- Planetary Dual-Motion Kneading: Stirring blades execute orbital revolution while spinning rapidly on their own axes. Combined with a high-speed Cowles disperser disc and PTFE wall scrapers, materials are continuously folded, sheared, and kneaded without unmixed dead zones.
- High Vacuum Degassing (-0.098 MPa): Built-in sealed vacuum housing maintains negative pressure between -0.098 and 0 MPa, pulling entrapped air bubbles out of viscous formulations to produce smooth, void-free pastes.
- Precise Temperature Control (±1°C): Three-layer jacketed mixing tanks support electric heating, steam, hot water, or thermal oil circulation. Intelligent temperature controllers deliver precision thermal regulation up to 220°C with ±1°C accuracy.
- Versatile Agitator Geometries: Agitator blades can be custom-configured with frame blades, multi-turn twist blades, or heavy dough-kneading frames paired with high-speed dispersing discs depending on formulation rheology.
- Flexible Hydraulic Discharge Options: Finished batches can be cleanly emptied using hydraulic extrusion discharge presses, positive air pressure discharge, or heavy-duty displacement pumps.
- Scalable Capacity Range: Available from pilot-scale laboratory units (2L to 5L) up to large industrial manufacturing vessels (100L to 2,000L).
