    The FXJ / PMX series Vacuum Double Planetary Mixer is an industrial high-torque compounding, kneading, and degassing system engineered for ultra-high viscosity formulations ranging from 0 to 1,500,000 cps. Operating under a deep vacuum state, the planetary agitator blades execute simultaneous orbital revolution around the vessel center while rotating on their own individual axes. This planetary motion forces high-viscosity pastes into complex multi-directional flow paths, delivering complete batch homogeneity without stagnant dead zones.

    Dead-Zone-Free Kneading & Deep Vacuum Degassing Dynamics

    As the twin twisted helical blades, frame beaters, or multi-blade paddles rotate past each other with minimal clearance (2 – 5 mm), massive compressive, stretching, and shearing forces thoroughly disperse solid fillers, polymers, and pigments. Simultaneously, an independent peripheral Teflon scraper sweeps the vessel wall. Under negative pressure (down to -0.098 MPa), micro-bubbles and entrapped air are drawn out rapidly, producing dense, bubble-free finished slurries for lithium battery pastes, structural adhesives, dental compounds, and silicone sealants.

    The FXJ / PMX double planetary mixer is designed for high-viscosity pastes and non-flowing thixotropic materials ranging from 0 to 1,500,000 cps.     How does the planetary rotation and orbital revolution eliminate dead zones?
    The agitator blades rotate around their own axes while simultaneously orbiting around the central axis of the vessel. Together with an independent high-speed dispersing shaft and a PTFE wall scraper that sweeps the perimeter, the entire batch volume is continuously sheared, folded, and kneaded without leaving unmixed material.
    Why is deep vacuum de-aeration essential for high-viscosity adhesives and sealants?
    High-viscosity pastes easily trap air pockets during high-torque kneading. Under deep vacuum (≤ -0.098 MPa), micro-bubbles expand and rupture immediately, preventing voids, bubbling, and curing defects in finished structural sealants, electronic pastes, and battery coatings.
    What discharge methods are available for viscous pastes that do not flow freely?
    Because high-viscosity pastes do not drain by gravity, POLYC provides matched hydraulic extrusion discharge presses that push a platen downward into the tank, forcing the paste cleanly out through a bottom valve or dispensing manifold. Positive air pressure and cavity pumps are also available.
    Can the temperature be precisely regulated during exothermic mixing reactions?
    Yes. The mixing kettle is engineered with a thermal jacket (supporting hot water, steam, or thermal oil heating up to 220°C, as well as chilled glycol cooling). Real-time digital temperature probes mounted directly in the paste ensure temperature regulation within ±1°C.
