Concentric Double Shaft Mixer
PCM Concentric double shaft mixer is high efficiency dispersing and mixing equipment, consists of the scrapper agitator and high-speed disperser, two sets of agitators working at the same time, mixing the material rapidly under the action of strong shearing and mixing force. According to different viscosity, density and products formulation, different agitators (frame type, half-frame type) and dispersing disc (double disc/ single disc/ Niemann disc) are optional.

The PCM series Concentric Double Shaft Mixer (Coaxial Dual Shaft Mixer) is a heavy-duty compounding machine engineered for high-solid content, thixotropic pastes, and viscous formulations up to 100,000 cps. It features a concentric dual-shaft configuration: an inner high-speed dispersing shaft fitted with a serrated Cowles disc (0 – 1,500 rpm) for intensive hydraulic shear and rapid powder wetting, and an outer low-speed anchor/frame agitator (25 – 50 rpm) equipped with flexible Teflon (PTFE) scrapers for continuous vessel wall wiping and global batch turnover.
PTFE Wall Scraping & Precision Vessel Dynamics
The interior wall of the mixing vessel is precisely lathed on CNC machinery and mirror-polished to ensure tight contact with the PTFE scrapers. As the outer frame rotates, scrapers continuously remove adhering material from the walls without leaving unmixed residue. This continuous material renewal significantly enhances thermal heat transfer during heating or cooling cycles and directs heavy paste straight into the central high-shear vortex.
