Product Overview & Operating Principle
The PRM series Horizontal Ribbon Blender is a state-of-the-art industrial mixing machine engineered with a U-shaped horizontal trough and a solid agitator shaft equipped with spokes supporting double-layer helical ribbons. Powered by a high-torque gearmotor drive, the agitator rotates to produce a high peripheral speed that moves materials both radially and axially in opposing directions. This radial and two-way axial mixing action promotes small-scale random motion (diffusion), large-scale random motion (convection), and high-efficiency shear through particle-to-particle collisions.
Double-Layer Helical Ribbon Dynamics & Zero Dead Zones
Inside ribbons move ingredients inward toward the blender's center, while outer ribbons move ingredients outward toward the blender walls. This counter-current flow ensures complete, uniform blending within minutes. The material discharge outlet is located precisely in the middle of the cylinder bottom, where the outer ribbon actively drives all processed material toward the valve to guarantee zero discharging dead zones.
