Shanghai Polyc Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully designed, manufactured, and dispatched a complete high-viscosity production line for a premier building materials manufacturer in Mexico. Specializing in plaster wall putties, paints, and waterproof sealants, the client required a robust, heavily customized solution to overcome severe dust pollution and extraction bottlenecks.
The Client's Challenge & POLYC's Engineering Solution
The Challenge: The client's plaster wall putty features an exceptionally high solid content. Crucially, their formulation requires operators to add large volumes of dry powder during the active mixing cycle. Using conventional mixers with standard small inspection hatches resulted in massive airborne dust pollution. The high-speed disperser shaft blew the powder back out into the workshop, creating severe EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) hazards and physical strain for workers lifting heavy bulk bags.
The Solution: Leveraging over 20 years of compounding expertise, POLYC engineers rapidly provided customized CAD drawings and an exclusive production line process. At the heart of the system is our Concentric Double Shaft Mixer, featuring a bespoke zero-dust powder induction hopper and an automated hydraulic packaging linkage. The client was highly satisfied with the tailored approach, confirming the order and remitting the advance payment within just one week.
Custom Zero-Dust Hopper
We engineered a large, flat-bottomed powder load hopper directly onto the mixer's lid. Operators can safely rest heavy powder bags on this stable surface, drastically reducing physical exertion during the feeding process.
Sliding Isolation Plate
Beneath the hopper sits a movable isolation plate. The operator opens the plate to dose powder, then immediately slides it shut. This instantly seals the tank, trapping the dust inside despite the high-speed internal agitation.
Automated Extrusion Linkage
Because the plaster putty is too thick to pump, we integrated a hydraulic discharge press hard-piped to an automated filling machine. This allows for simultaneous, quantitative pressing and filling without manual scooping.
