On June 11th, Shanghai Polyc Technology Co., Ltd. successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and dispatched a high-performance machinery order comprising a PZM Immersion Basket Mill and a High Shear Emulsifier to a valued manufacturing client in Algeria.
The Client's Challenge & POLYC's Solution
The Algerian client specializes in the production of high-quality paints, coatings, and inks. Their primary operational bottleneck was the excessive downtime and solvent waste caused by cleaning traditional horizontal bead mills during frequent color switch-overs for small-batch orders.
To solve this, POLYC engineered and delivered our signature PZM Basket Mill. By immersing the grinding basket directly into the mixing vessel, this technology eliminates the need for external pipelines and transfer pumps, providing an elegant "one-machine, multi-purpose" solution.
Zero Pipeline Residuals
Because there are no hoses or external circulation pumps, there is absolute minimum residue left behind after a batch. This allows the operator to execute a complete color changeover with a rapid solvent spin in just minutes.
Integrated Dispersion & Milling
The PZM series features a high-speed dispersion disc beneath the grinding basket. It effortlessly pulls dry powder into the liquid, pre-disperses the formulation, and mills it to a sub-micron level all within a single mobile tank.
5 to 20 Micron Fineness
Widely adopted across the paint, coating, printing ink, and pesticide (SC formulations) industries, the high-density bead basket reliably achieves strict target particle fineness between 5 and 20 microns.
